Jockey’s Ridge is the most visited State Park in North Carolina with over 1.8 million visitors last year. The community room, located inside the visitor center adjacent to the park museum, is a flexible space for visitors to gather while preparing for a trek into the dunes or rest after their return. Plans for the room include interactive educational exhibits, activity tables and seating in an air-conditioned space with gallery-style artwork featuring Jockey’s Ridge. The space will also host special events and park programs.

Just as the dune environment depends on the supporting landscape to thrive, Friends of Jockey’s Ridge and Jockey’s Ridge State Park rely on sponsorships to support and enhance visitor experiences.
