an art exhibit inspired by Jockey’s Ridge

Art From the Edge is a special exhibition celebrating the beauty of the Outer Banks and exploring the powerful connection between art and nature. This invitational show features the work of twenty regional artists.

All artwork will be available for purchase, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Friends of Jockey’s Ridge. Through this exhibition, the Friends aim to inspire a deeper appreciation for Jockey’s Ridge and its vital role in preserving the region’s natural heritage through art and community engagement.

The exhibition opens April 16 in the Community Room at the Jockey’s Ridge State Park Visitor Center, which is open daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We invite you to experience the artwork and enjoy the park.
