Calling all photographers!
In search of photos of Jockey’s Ridge for New Visitor’s Center Museum!
Jockey’s Ridge State Park will be expanding their Visitor’s Center building and replacing the exhibits. Construction is set to begin after Labor Day 2019 and may take up to nine months. They are looking for high quality photographs of Jockey’s Ridge to be used in displays in the museum. As a non-profit, we are hoping for some donated artwork which will credit the photographer, and be displayed in the Visitor’s Center at a park which receives at least 1.5 million visitors a year. There may be a budget to purchase some photos, please call the park and speak with Justin or Joy at 252-441-7132 to discuss. We are looking for anything taken in Jockey’s Ridge – flora and fauna, landscapes, people at play, events, activities, historical etc. Please email photosofjockeysridge@gmail.com with any questions or your photo submissions, or if the file is too large, please bring your submissions by the Visitor’s Center so that we can download.
