Friends of Jockey’s Ridge Welcomes New Board Members

Friends of Jockey’s Ridge is thrilled to welcome new board members Craig Honeycutt and Holly Nettles.  Board members help plan, support, and promote events and fundraising campaigns, as well as approve financial assistance to support and maintain the programs and facilities at the Park. Welcome Craig and Holly!

Craig Honeycutt
A long time resident of the Outer Banks, Craig Honeycutt is a songwriter and strategist. Craig is pictured above with the moon in his hand on a recent visit to Jockey’s Ridge. Craig lives at the edge of Jockey’s Ridge with his wife Tricia and daughter Vera.

Craig serves as the Head of Digital Marketing for Outer Banks Internet and is the founder of the band “everything”. Craig brings a passion for conservation and nature-based projects to the team.

Holly Nettles
Holly Nettles is a North Carolina native, graduate of UNC, former Los Angeles ad agency “suit”, business owner, professional artist, mom and friend.

Holly explains “All of these experiences have brought me to my Outer Banks home and back to my life long love of Jockey’s Ridge.”

“Sand shifts, the sun sets, nature-lovers run, jump and marvel at its beauty. Jockey’s Ridge provides an otherworldly experience for anyone and everyone who is curious enough to climb its crest and walk its trails. It is and has always been a year-round favorite spot for us.”

Holly is happy to be a part of the Friends of Jockey’s Ridge to support and promote this special place and its programs.
